Every new patient receives a detailed evaluation by Dr. Nguyen covering mechanism of injury, neurological assessment, musculoskeletal exam, range of motion testing, and a full review of prior records. This is not a nurse practitioner or physician assistant intake. Dr. Nguyen personally evaluates every accident patient.
On-Site X-Ray Imaging
X-rays are available at both the Mesa and Phoenix clinic locations. First-line imaging for fractures, spinal alignment issues, and structural changes is completed at your first visit without sending you elsewhere.
On-Site Diagnostic Ultrasound
Real-time ultrasound imaging allows Dr. Nguyen to assess soft tissue injuries, tendon damage, and joint conditions at the point of care. Ultrasound-guided procedures are performed with precision rather than blind injection technique.
MRI Coordination
When MRI imaging is needed for disc herniation, ligament injury, or head trauma evaluation, Dr. Nguyen works with a trusted MRI partner facility to order and integrate results quickly into your treatment plan. You are not left to navigate this on your own.
Concussion and Traumatic Brain Injury Screening
Patients with head impact or significant whiplash receive focused neurological evaluation and cognitive screening. Post-concussive symptoms including headache, brain fog, sleep disruption, and concentration problems are documented and treated as part of a complete care plan.
Treatment Services
PRF Therapy: Platelet-Rich Fibrin with Albumin Gel
This is the treatment that separates The Accident Doctors from every other accident clinic in the Phoenix and Mesa area.
Dr. Nguyen uses the 3rd generation PRF with Albumin Gel protocol, first published in 2020 and refined at our clinic beginning in 2023. Using platelets drawn from your own blood, re-injected at the precise source of your pain, this treatment provokes a targeted immune response that drives natural healing without steroids or chemical additives.

Near-Facet Injections
Most neck and lower back pain from accidents originates at the facet joints, the pivot points on the outside of the spine where the vertebrae connect and move, rather than from a herniated disc deep inside the spinal column.
Dr. Nguyen uses a near-facet injection technique where a needle is inserted into the muscle and touches the bone near the facet joint. This both confirms the source of pain and begins the healing process by triggering a small, targeted immune response at the exact injury site.
This approach is distinct from standard epidural steroid injections, which target the inside of the spinal column and use cortisone to suppress inflammation rather than stimulate healing.
Trigger Point Injections

Bracing and Durable Medical Equipment
Cervical collars, lumbar braces, knee supports, and TENS units are available at the clinic when clinically appropriate. Equipment is provided as part of your treatment plan at your first visit.
Physical Therapy Coordination
Dr. Nguyen has physical therapy on staff. PT is integrated into treatment plans where rehabilitation, strengthening, and functional restoration are part of the recovery process. Patients do not need to find their own PT or manage separate appointments across multiple locations.
Chiropractic Coordination
While Dr. Nguyen does not perform chiropractic adjustments, he maintains working relationships with chiropractors throughout Maricopa County and coordinates referrals where chiropractic care is appropriate as part of a physician-supervised treatment plan.

Every visit note is written to reflect clinical progress, treatment response, and ongoing medical necessity. These records support continuous billing under the medical lien model and build a timeline that tells the story of your recovery.
Independent Medical Examinations (IME)
Dr. Nguyen is certified to perform Independent Medical Examinations for both auto accident and workers’ compensation cases. IME reports are used by attorneys, insurers, and courts to establish diagnosis, causation, maximum medical improvement (MMI), and permanent impairment.
Workers’ Compensation Documentation
Arizona workers’ compensation cases require compliance with Industrial Commission of Arizona standards. Dr. Nguyen is certified as a treating physician for Arizona workers’ compensation patients and provides the documentation required for claim processing, employer communication, and carrier billing.
Return-to-Work and Restriction Notes
Work status documentation, light-duty restrictions, and functional limitation updates are provided visit-to-visit for workplace injury cases. Employers and workers’ compensation carriers receive the documentation they require in the format they require it.
